Asset tags now have an important function in any medium to large size business. With a range of valuable assets, asset tags will help track those assets through the use of serial numbers and bar codes.
Imagine a company in a large office block with 100's of computers. How would they track each one without an asset tag? A simple solution to what could be a big problem.
Asset tags are applied to each piece of equipment in a business. The number on the tag can then be recorded, or captured via the bar code, and used in an inventory database to track and manage each individual item.
Some insurance companies now require that all the companies they insure have their business assets labelled for identification purposes.
Datalabel have a range of asset tags to satisfy the most demanding applications. We can supply low cost vinyl tags, through to fully laminated durable hi tack polyester tags. Just added to our range are anodised aluminium tags for the harshest of environments. Our asset tags can also be produced on tamper evident materials that destruct or void themselves on removal, thus preventing tags being moved from one piece of equipment to another.
All our tags can be supplied with sequential serial numbers and/or sequential bar codes. We can even produce asset tags with random data imported from customers' own databases. We can also incorporate you own logo.
